Modiano Tarocco Siciliano

Modiano cards are world famous for toughness, their ease of shuffling & dealing, and their consideration regarding the work of art on their cards, which are vibrant and textured. The cards are made in their Factory in the Trieste Region. Rather than utilizing Italian smooth clubs and bent swords the Sicilian tarot utilizes the Spanish-style bumpy clubs and straight swords. The Tarocco Siciliano deck, otherwise known as the Sicilian Tarot contains 64 cards comprising 22 major arcana or trump cards, 41 minor arcana or suit cards, and one top card. The Tarocco Siciliano likewise saves the Portuguese custom of having female knaves. Modiano Cards are 100% plastic playing a game of cards made with Modiano's proprietary platinum acetic acid derivation, never poor quality PVC like the other brands of cards. Plastic cards will regularly last up to 50-100 times longer than paper-based or plastic-covered playing cards.

This is a special deck for playing a tarocco game popular in Sicily. The suits of Swords, Clubs, and Cups have 10 cards: King, Queen, Knight, Knave, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5; While Discs has 11 cards: King, Queen, Knight, Knave, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4.
